
This is a professionally led 7-week group which will meet weekly on
Wednesdays (5:30-7:00 CDT) beginning May 13th through June 21st 2026
This lively hands-on group is designed for lifelong learners, clients, spouses of clients, therapists, spouses of therapists, students and anyone who is curious about developing more secure relationships and learning to practically apply the relational sciences to your personal circumstances.
All are welcome!
Suggested fee: $60/session.
This is a pay-what-you-can series, no one will be turned away due to financial limitations.

What is Secure Relating and why is it so good for us?
Exploring emotional reactions (MARS spectrum)
The basic science in a nutshell (protection and connection parts, unconscious scripts that lead to dysregulation, disconnection and repeated arguments)

Integrating Internal Family Systems, modern attachment, applied relational science, and the science of trauma in practical terms that you can use in everyday life.
Secure Relating: Holding Your Own in an Insecure World
Free through Spotify Premium or your library, otherwise available in print or audio wherever you get your books. Supplemental materials will be provided by the facilitator as we make our way through the group schedule.
To get the absolute most out of this group experience, and to have the original lectures downloaded for your ongoing personal use, I recommend signing up for the course: "Beyond Attachment Styles: The Science of Growing Secure Adult Relationships" (6 hours CE available)
This is not required and much of the material will be discussed during the group process.
About the Facilitator:
Dr. Sheri Clark
Dr. Sheri Clark is a licensed psychologist with 20+ years of clinical experience. She is licensed in the states of Arizona and North Carolina, as well as holds a certificate entitled “Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology” (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission which allows her to meet with clients in States or US Territories which have legislation that recognizes this e-passport.
Prior to relocating to Arizona, she was a Staff Psychologist and Associate Director/Director of Training for the Counseling and Psychological Services Center at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. As part of her experience in university counseling center work, she often held outreach programming for the university students and faculty/staff. As a part of an active training site for doctoral and masters-level trainees, she created active training sessions for a wide variety of topics.
Being a life-long learner, Sheri has often thrown herself into a variety of intensive trainings (Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing –EMDR; Emotionally Focused Therapy – EFT for couples; Internal Family Systems - IFS; and other neuroscience-informed treatments for attachment-related issue that seem to interfere with connection and feeling grounded and attuned.
